'Fiada' [FEE-ah-da] comes from the Asante language Twi, meaning Friday. In Asante culture, everyone has a day name determined by which day of the week they are born. My day name is Afia meaning female born on a Friday. Each day is associated with traits too. Friday-borns are innovators.
